Day 1

Arrival in Windhoek

Windhoek Airport → Windhoek Guesthouse
Arrive in Windhoek where you are met by your Expedition Guide. Transfer to collect your fully equipped 4x4 vehicle, followed by a welcome orientation and safety briefing at guesthouse.

Enjoy a traditional Namibian braai dinner under the stars — your first taste of Africa’s warmth and hospitality.

Day 2

Into the Desert

Windhoek → Sossusvlei (Sesriem / Naukluft Mountain Zebra Park)
Convoy south through spectacular desert scenery to the Namib-Naukluft National Park — home to the highest sand dunes on earth.

Overnight: Sesriem (2 nights)

Day 3

The Dunes of Sossusvlei

Early departure to Sossusvlei and Deadvlei, where red dunes and white clay pans create surreal contrasts at sunrise. Return to camp to rest and enjoy the desert’s peace.

Overnight: Sesriem

Day 4

Atlantic meets the Desert

Sesriem → Walvis Bay → Swakopmund
Travel north via the desert plains and arrive at Swakopmund, a coastal town between dunes and sea. Explore cafés, markets, and ocean views.

Overnight: Swakopmund (2 nights)

Day 5

Dunes, Ocean and Desert Magic

Visit Sandwich Harbour, where the dunes meet the Atlantic, then head deep into the Namib Dunes on guided dune buggies— discovering the “Little Five” desert creatures and the fragile beauty of the Namib.

Day 6

Skeleton Coast to Damaraland

Journey north along the legendary Skeleton Coast, following the salt roads past shipwrecks and vast seal colonies. Turn inland to reach the ancient landscapes of Damaraland.

Overnight: Damaraland - Madisa Camp (3 nights)

Day 7

Explore Brandberg

Hike into the Brandberg Mountains to view the famed White Lady rock painting and discover desert-adapted wildlife.

Overnight: Damaraland - Madisa Camp

Day 8

Damaraland Discovery

Explore Twyfelfontein’s rock engravings, the Burnt Mountain, Organ Pipes, and Petrified Forest. Return to camp for a starlit bush dinner beside the fire.

Day 9

Etosha National Park

Head north to Etosha National Park — one of Africa’s greatest wildlife reserves. Settle in at Okaukuejo Camp, famous for its floodlit waterhole where elephants, lions, and rhinos gather at night.

Overnight: Etosha - Okaukuejo Camp (2 nights) 

Day 10

Etosha Self Drive

Spend the day exploring western Etosha either sitting in the shade at the famous Ombika waterhole or driving around the park’s excellent road system putting your game viewing skills to test.

Etosha is a place that offers visitors a complete contrast of wide-open grasslands, a massive pan and large camel thorn trees mixed with Mopani trees. In September temperatures rise and the animals congregate around the remaining waterholes - the diversity of vegetation accounting for the abundant of wildlife that thrives in the park. 

Etosha’s bird life is extraordinary with 325 species identified, the number of animals permanently living around the pan number approximately 30 000 blue wildebeest, 25 000 springbok, 23 000 zebra, 5 000 kudu, 3 000 hartebeest, 2 600 eland, 3 000 oryx, 450 giraffe, 2 000 elephant, 260 lions, 200 black rhinos, and numerous smaller creatures.

Day 11

Etosha East

Drive to Namutoni Camp to experience Etosha’s eastern region — known for open plains, giraffes, and large herds of zebra and antelope.

Overnight: Etosha - Namutoni Camp

Day 12

Kavango River, Caprivi

Head northeast along Caprivi Strip and our camp for the next two nights on the lush banks of the Kavango River.

Overnight: Caprivi - Ngepi Camp (2 nights)

Day 13

Bwabwata National Park

Explore Bwabwata National Park and enjoy a sunset boat cruise on the Kavango River, surrounded by hippos, crocodiles, and water birds.

Overnight: Caprivi - Ngepi Camp

Day 14

Into Botswana - Chobe National Park

Drive east through the Caprivi Strip and Kwando River region, crossing into Botswana. Settle at your riverside camp outside the town of Kasane.

Overnight: Kasane (3 nights)

Day 15

Victoria Falls

Cross into Zimbabwe for a full-day excursion to the awe-inspiring Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.

Overnight: Kasane 

Day 16

Chobe National Park

Early morning open-vehicle game drive in Chobe National Park, followed by a sunset river cruise — elephants crossing the river, hippos basking, and a symphony of birdlife.

Day 17

Chobe through the Savuti to Khwai

Drive in convoy through Chobe National Park and Savuti arriving at Khwai River in the Moremi Region.

Overnight: Riverside camp in the Khwai (3 nights)

Day 18

Mokorro safari

Glide silently through the Khwai River on a mokoro (dugout canoe) with local guides, experiencing the Okavango’s tranquillity up close.

Day 19

Moremi Self-Drive

Full day to explore the Moremi Game Reserve at your own pace — abundant wildlife, open plains, and lagoons alive with sound and movement.

Day 19

Self-Drive game viewing

Full day to explore the Moremi Game Reserve at your own pace — abundant wildlife, open plains, and lagoons alive with sound and movement.

Day 20

Maun & the Delta from above

Drive to Maun, gateway to the Okavango. A scenic flight over the Delta in the late afternoon — a breathtaking aerial view of this UNESCO World Heritage site.

Day 21

Ghanzi stopover

Journey southwest through the Kalahari to Ghanzi, a small desert town rich in San culture.

Overnight: Ghanzi Camp

Day 22

Return to Windhoek

Cross the border back into Namibia and travel to Windhoek. Celebrate your final night with dinner at the iconic Joe’s Beerhouse — a legendary traveller’s landmark.

Overnight: Windhoek Guesthouse

Departure

Transfer to Windhoek’s Hosea Kutako International Airport for your onward or homebound flights.
