MEALS ON TOUR

While on tour, our mobile bush kitchen will treat you to the most delectable and hearty meals three times a day – breakfast, lunch and supper and always enjoyed around the campfire. Our menu includes full continental breakfasts to three-course dinners and while in transit and between destinations, our lunches are usually on the move and prepared by our chef are always delicious.

Whilst we offer a selection of meat-based meals that include traditional favourites like braaivleis and potjie amongst a host of other deliciousness and are also able to cater for vegetarian meal preferences provided we are notified at least two weeks prior to the start of your tour. Meals are accompanied by fresh salad and/or vegetables and always with Bhejane’s speciality pot bread – baked fresh on the fire every day!

While in camp – tea, coffee and homemade rusks are yours to enjoy! the fire is always burning and the kettle is always boiling.  Bhejane Adventures provides all the crockery, cutlery and coffee mugs but if you prefer your first cuppa of the day in your own mug, we totally understand.

Whilst we provide ice for your sundowners we are not able to fill your cooler boxes with ice - instead bring your ice blocks and our crew will refreeze them overnight in our freezer for the next days driving - please remember to bring your own glasses and tumblers as we do not provide these. Important to note, alcoholic beverages and refreshments and of course, your own padkos are your own responsibility.
